paint it for me. It's myself (I have painted parts of 50 cars), and a friend of mine who used to be a professional painter. And I have a 3,500 square foot shop. So it's more a matter of how much time I want to put into it, rather than how much money I want to stick into it. I am paying my friend that is helping, & I am buying the supplies. And I obviously have other expenses at my shop. But I am not throwing a couple grand at a body shop & expecting a decent job. We are doing it right, color change or not. All I said about not painting under the hood, was if I change the color, I am not doing under the hood right now. It will get done, I would just wait until the next round of engine mods, when the engine is coming out anyhow.
